The overall feel of this design is more fluid and natural, giving priority to greenery and planting new trees.
The sustainable components and plans for edible/native plants is a very essential and grounded vision for future green spaces.
Great that the large tree will be kept, as there are far too few larger trees in the vicinity.
The green areas on Mareestraat is a good way to deter through traffic, which is essential to keeping the area safe for children to play.
Wat kan beter in dit ontwerp?
Must consider how to create slow traffic zones/natural/green barriers Mareestraat/Langstraat, as well as extensions of greenery.
Is it necessary to keep parking spaces on Mareestraat (besides handicap)?
There are perhaps too many separate zones and footpath entrances for a (unfortunately) small area?
Will there be a large playground in the inner courtyard? If there are plans for play structures there, perhaps the play structures in the park will be redundant?
If without playground, we can have more green area designed for neighbors of all age to enjoy.
